K-Electric runs a separate tariff determination not covered here — see PHASE-2-STATUS.md. 'Protected' status requires consumption ≤200 units/month consistently across the current and prior 6 months; crossing 200 units in any month reprices that whole month's bill on non-protected slabs. Non-protected slabs are cliff-priced: the entire month's units are billed at the rate of the highest slab reached, not blended marginally.
