Why We Built Side-by-Side Comparison Pages
Some of the most common questions we get aren't "what's my income tax" — they're comparative. What does non-filer status actually cost me across everything, not just salary? Is a plot cheaper than a built house once you add construction? Does the same merit formula favour test-takers or board-toppers?
Answering those properly means pulling numbers from more than one calculator at once, which isn't something a single-purpose calculator is built to do.
The comparison hub
/compare now covers eight of these cross-cutting questions: filer vs non-filer cost, net metering vs the new net billing solar policy, grey structure vs turnkey construction, buying a plot vs a built house, CNG vs petrol vs EV running cost, protected vs non-protected electricity consumers, merit aggregates across NUST/UET/FAST, and provincial property transfer cost.
Nothing new is estimated
Every figure on these pages is pulled directly from the same sourced rate data and calculation engines the individual calculators already use — we didn't estimate anything new just to populate a comparison table. Where a page shows a worked example, it links back to the full calculator so you can run your own numbers instead of relying on the illustrative one.
