Every Rate We Use, and Where It Comes From
Every number a calculator on this site produces traces back to a specific, dated rate set — an FBR notification, a NEPRA tariff order, a Finance Act, a provincial excise & taxation schedule. We've always shown the source on the calculator itself, but finding a *specific* rate meant hunting through whichever calculator used it.
One page for every rate on the site
The rates reference page now lists every rate collection we maintain, grouped by domain — tax, electricity, solar, fuel, land & property, construction, education, Islamic, vehicle, and everyday tools. Each collection shows its full version history: when a rate became effective, when (if ever) it was superseded, its official source, and who reviewed it.
Why this matters beyond convenience
A rate set on this site is never edited in place once it's closed out — corrections always create a new, dated entry with a note explaining what changed. That means a calculation you ran last year reproduces the same result today, and a rate you're citing for a report stays traceable to the exact version you used, not whatever the site happens to show now.

Every collection has a "Download CSV" button that exports its full version history — useful if you're cross-checking a rate for a report, building your own tool on top of public tax data, or just want the numbers in a spreadsheet instead of a web table. Nothing is fetched live; the export is generated from the same static data every calculator already reads from.
